MUSIC IN THE 2000'S
-THE HIP HOP: One of the first types of music that comes to mind when the 2000s are mentioned; Hip-hop. Among the most important artists of the genre, which was especially popular at the beginning of the millennium, we can count the names like Eminem.Hip-hop, which was more popular in big cities such as New York and Los Angeles in the 90s, spread to different geographies by reaching larger audiences by the 2000s.

-THE POST-GRUNGE:Another prominent music genre in 2000; Post-grunge. Among the artists of the period, we can count the names such as Foo Fighters. As one of the biggest post-grunge bands with the sale of more than 50 million albums of Nickelback, it has put its stamp on history.

-THE POP: In pop continued to be an extremely popular genre in the early 2000s, with the success of young pop singers Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Spears' 'Oops! ... I did it again' and Aguilera's ‘Come on over Baby' (All I Want Is You) songs became big hits in 2000. At the same time, the Boybands managed to maintain their popularity, but other groups, with the exception of Backstreet Boys, which continued their popularity after 2005, lost popularity over time.
